The Ripple Glow Lamp is a cylindrical table lamp whose character is defined by a continuous pattern of deeply pronounced vertical ridges that run from the base to the rim in an even, rhythmically spaced arrangement around the full circumference of the body. Each ridge has a softly rounded cross-section that catches ambient light differently at every angle of view, creating a continuously shifting interplay of highlight and shadow across the surface that gives the lamp a quiet, textured depth even when unlit. The ridged outer body is formed from a semi-translucent material so that when the lamp is switched on, the internal light source permeates outward through the surface, diffusing softly through the material and illuminating each ridge from within — the rounded peaks of the ridges catching the light more strongly and the deeper channels between them remaining softer and more shadowed, creating a richly textured, organic quality of glow that fills the surrounding space with warmth and atmosphere rather than directing a single beam of harsh light.
