Wavy Textured Catch-All Tray
One piece. Every surface. The small object that makes everywhere feel more considered.
The Wavy Textured Catch-All Tray is a flat, low-profile disc with an organic, irregular outline and a top surface covered in a dramatic flowing wave pattern — a continuous landscape of raised ridges and curved valleys that sweeps across the entire face of the tray in flowing, parallel arcs. The pattern is organic in character, drawing on the visual language of topographic contours, sand dunes, and the cross-sections of natural forms — it has the kind of visual complexity that takes a moment to fully read, and that rewards continued attention each time you look at it.
The form is deliberately low and flat. This is not a vessel or a container with walls: it is a considered surface, a designated place, a tray in the truest sense. Its purpose is to give small objects a home — keys by the front door, rings on the nightstand, coins on the desk, hair pins on the vanity, a watch on the dresser — and to make the act of placing things down feel intentional rather than careless. The organic outline of the disc gives it a sense of movement and life that a rectangular tray cannot achieve, and the wave pattern on the surface ensures that the tray is worth looking at even when it is empty.
The tray is available in two independently chosen colours — one for the wave-textured top disc and one for the flat base disc — allowing for tonal harmony or deliberate contrast. Thirteen colours are available for each part, giving a very wide range of possible combinations to suit any interior palette or personal preference.
Key Features
-
Dramatic flowing wave surface pattern — the entire top surface of the tray is covered with a continuous pattern of raised ridges that flow across the organic disc in sweeping, parallel arcs; the ridges have genuine three-dimensional depth, standing proud of the surface beneath them and casting fine, precise shadows in raking light; the pattern draws on the visual language of topographic contours, sand formations, and the cross-sections of natural organic forms, giving the tray a surface that is both abstract and immediately legible as something drawn from nature
-
Organic irregular outline — the tray has a gently irregular, organic disc outline rather than a perfect circle or rectangle; the outline is not symmetrical and has a slight biomorphic quality that gives the piece a sense of natural form and makes it feel found rather than manufactured
-
Low flat profile — the tray is deliberately low and flat, without walls or raised edges; it functions as a designated surface rather than a container, sitting quietly beneath whatever is placed on it without competing visually with the objects it holds
-
Two-part colour customisation — the wave-textured top disc and the flat base disc are available in two independently chosen colours from a palette of thirteen options: Purple, White, Orange, Green, Brown, Beige, Black, Grey, Blue, Red, Pink, Neon Green, and Neon Purple
-
Versatile placement — equally at home on a desk, an entryway console table, a nightstand, a vanity, a bathroom shelf, a kitchen worktop, or a coffee table; the tray works in every room and suits every surface
-
Functional for everyday small objects — sized to hold keys, jewellery, coins, hair accessories, rings, watches, cards, stationery, or any collection of small items that benefit from a designated home
-
Decorative standing alone — the wave pattern surface and organic outline mean the tray is genuinely decorative even when empty; it reads as a sculptural object in its own right
-
Made in the United Kingdom — designed and crafted in Britain with close attention to the flow and depth of the wave ridge pattern and the organic precision of the disc outline
-
A considered, distinctive gift — original, immediately useful, and genuinely beautiful; a perfect present for anyone who appreciates objects that bring order and considered design to everyday surfaces
