The Modern Globe Desk Lamp is a three-part sculptural lamp composed of three distinct geometric elements in deliberate dialogue: a wide, stable cone base; a perfect sphere that sits in the cup of the cone and contains the light source; and a flat, sharply angled disc that passes through the centre of the sphere at a diagonal, encircling it like the ring of a planet. Together the three forms create an object that is immediately recognisable as a lamp but reads first as sculpture — a composed still-life arrangement of cone, sphere, and disc that holds visual interest from every angle and in every light condition.

The sphere houses the light source and glows from within when switched on, producing a warm, diffused ambient glow that is soft enough to use as a bedside reading light, atmospheric enough to use as an accent in a living space, and distinctive enough to function as a focal point on a desk or shelf in its own right.
