The Modern Globe Desk Lamp is a two-part sculptural lamp composed of a large frosted textured sphere that sits cradled in a warm, organically formed base. The sphere is the heart of the piece: a full, unbroken globe with a subtly textured, frosted surface that catches and diffuses light across its entire face, creating a soft swirling quality that shifts as you move around it. The base is a rounded, curved form with a wide opening at the top into which the sphere settles, holding it securely while leaving the upper three-quarters of the globe fully exposed and unobstructed.

When the lamp is switched on, the sphere illuminates from within with a warm, even glow that diffuses uniformly through the frosted surface, producing a soft ambient light that is atmospheric and cinematic in any setting. In a dark room the glowing sphere is immediately striking — a complete circle of diffused colour floating above its base, casting a gentle wash of warm light across the surface below and the wall behind.
